Ski for life

I recently went to the Swiss ski chalets and had the best time ever. The condition of the snow was perfect and I could not stop hitting the slopes. My whole body ached the after I got back but it is okay because i was having so much fun. I just got sponsored by Trojan since I am so good at skiing. They pay for all my travel expenses and give me cool things like protection, hats and stickers. I like to do back flips on my skis and go down extra big mountains. I have been skiing for 8 years and I still do it all the time. My friends and family all have been doing this for a very long time to so we always go out together and hit the slopes. I know everyone who works there so they give me discounts. I think I might work there.

Problems we can look forward to

There are obvious problems with getting old and they include a variety of things that we may or may not be able to control. Unfortunately, one of those problems is the problem of incontinence or not being able to hold our water or bodily fluids.

In addition, we constant protection as we go about our regular day – while shopping, working or visiting. Let in the sunshine!

I love my new dining room! We just had the floors sanded and stained a lovely shade of chestnut. We painted all our trim a vanilla white and installed gorgeous fitted shutter blinds on our windows. I wasn’t sure what to put on my windows as they go from floor to ceiling. Although I love all the light they bring into the room, they also make the room too hot when the sunshine pours in.

I thought of fabric draperies, but then my neighbor said, “Why not install shutters? You can close them and keep the sun out, and when you want some sun you can adjust them.”

I liked her idea a lot. The next day my husband and I shopped for shutters and I found the gorgeous, yet practical shutters I now have in my dining room. They add architectural interest to the room and are functional and beautiful!

Freaked Out Just A Little

Recently I found out that my best friend Jack loves that scene. You know, the scene that freaks most of us out and needs safe words… and ropes. I’m not sure how to handle it. I’ve treated Jack the same ever sense, of course, but I just can’t get over that he likes that. I don’t know what to do except to ignore it. I’ve looked into some of it, and have even found that London dominatrix does it, which I admit freaks me out in more ways than one. I don’t really understand that world and don’t really plan to.

I have looked into the information a little bit. I think that remembering it and having nothing to say about it surprised me and I would like the ability not to be surprised in the future when the topic is broached. I will say this: I was thoroughly surprised I had managed not to freak out when he brought up the bondage scene.

Reading is Vital

Literacy KS2 is one of the major platforms that I feel many politicians should promote when elected into office. I feel it is my duty to act as a representative of the students in primary school because they cannot represent themselves. Many students are failing out of their respective classes because they can barely read- a skill that is vital in all subjects. Teachers are tired of dealing with kids who have problems and so they pass them in order for them to be a problem for the next teacher. The cycle continues until the child with reading problems is hardly taught a thing. The child will never be able to fully understand the concept of reading until they are taught the basics once more. However, this should never happen. Each child should be taught according to their level as best as possible. If not, many children will never learn to read.

Short of cash

If you are short on cash, are in need of money to pay the rent or other bills which are quickly piling up, and are willing to take any job, then you may want to consider taking a position as a phone sex operator. Not only will you be earning the money you need, but no one ever has to know about your position. Since this is a phone service job, and you will be working out of an office based location, you are the only person that has to know about the job title you hold. It is a great way to make extra cash on the side if you are struggling with the bills, and it is the kind of job that you can take either for a short term position, or on the longer term, until you find something which can properly provide for you and your family.

Gone with the Wind

As I go back in time and think of the movies I have viewed my thoughts immediately go to Gone With The Wind. I have always been a big fan of Clark Gable and I think this was one of his best, better than the mature phone sex session I had recently. The theme and setting for the movie help make it a hit along with his leading lady, and of course the remaining wonderful cast. I remember watching the movie and not being willing to miss a word as I was fully there in mind and into the entire plot of things. Not only was the scenery beautiful but the costumes were breath taking,as was the furnishing of the house. This movie reflected the old South as we recall it and certainly gives us a good lesson in the history of our wonderful country. It would be great if we had movies produced today that had the qualifications, beauty and class of Gone With The Wind.

Enter the Dragon

Bruce Lee, a superstar of the martial arts world, stars in this classic crime drama about a kung fu expert who takes part in a dangerous tournament in order to help police catch a crook. Lee himself played a big part off-screen as well as on, rewriting much of the original screenplay. He wished to use “Enter the Dragon” as a way of conveying the beauty of Chinese culture instead of being a formulaic action flick. He also wrote and directed the film’s opening fight scene.

Made with a budget of $850,000, “Enter the Dragon” has grossed more than $90,000,000 worldwide since its 1973 release. Part of the long-lasting mystique of this film is due to the death of star Bruce Lee just days before its release. Lee, whose career was already solid at the time, catapulted to legendary status as the film and kung-fu worlds reeled with the news of his demise. Lee died of a cerebral edema caused by an allergic reaction to pain medication. He was thirty-two. Many London escorts miss him as do most of the film buffs around the world.

The Godfather Part I

One of the all time classic movies is The Godfather. Filled with brilliant actors, The Godfather is an American classic, with lines still being repeated today. The genius of Francis Ford Coppola created a movie that will still be viewed years from now.

Growing up in a New York suburb, Coppola was born into a supportive Italian-American family that helped him in his dreams. His mother was an actress and his father a composer and musician, potentially influences by Birmingham escorts in a seedy bar.

Coppola received his degree in the dramatic arts from Hofstra University. He worked hard in the field, working as a soundman, dialogue director, associate producer and finally, the director of the movie Dementia 13 that hit the big screen in 1963. This was Coppola’s first big film and he would continue on in his career, giving us film greats as The Godfather, The Great Gatsby, The Conversation, Apocalypse Now, Heart of Darkness, The Escape Artist and many more major motion pictures.

Coppola has won two academy awards, a Golden Palm Award and the name that Hollywood filmmakers work so hard to achieve. His son, Gio, died in a boating accident in 1986, leaving Coppola distraught. He went on after the tragedy, still bringing us the amazing works he has accomplished, including assisting his nephew, Nicholas Cage, in the drama field to become the superstar he is as well.

The Return of the Jedi

This final installment of to the original Star Wars trilogy finds Luke Skywalker, now a Jedi Knight, Princess Leia and their companions are on a mission to rescue Han Solo and to destroy the second Death Star. In the process, they team up with old friends and make the acquaintance of the cute and fuzzy Ewoks. In addition, Luke has a personal mission to lure his father, Darth Vader, away from the dark side of the Force. In the end, Vader must choose between the emperor he serves and his only son. His decision will determine the fate of the rebellion and of the Force itself.  Vadar has a strong ability to make psychic readings on other beings.

While it was a resounding success when initially released, this film is often considered the weakest of the trilogy. It contains well-regarded digital effects, but some elements, particularly the large part played by the Ewoks, have not been universally praised. Most critics, however, agree that while this is the least of three excellent movies, it is still a very good film.
